The Weekend
Celebrating the place where gratitude became action.
In 1950, thousands gathered in this hall in Cleveland. Our Twelve Traditions were adopted there. Dr. Bob gave his farewell talk there. The theme that year was gratitude — and gratitude, put to work, became the fellowship we know today.
In the summer of 2027 we return to that hall. Three days of meetings, speakers, panels, and fellowship built around the three legacies handed down to us — honoring our heritage, strengthening our unity, and carrying the message forward. Whether you are coming from down the street or across the country, whether this is your first weekend or your fortieth, there is a seat here for you.
Unity
The Traditions were born in this room. We come back to strengthen the ties between groups, districts, and areas across the Great Lakes and beyond.
Service
Panels on sponsorship, service work, and getting active — because faith without works is dead, and this weekend is built by people who showed up.

Forty-five dollars. The whole weekend.
One registration covers all three days, Friday through Sunday. We have kept the price low on purpose — this weekend should be within reach of anyone who wants to be here.

Coming for just one day? Registration is the same $45 whether you are with us for an hour or the whole weekend. There is no day pass — everyone who attends registers, and that is what keeps the price where it is for everyone else.
Getting Here
Coming to Cleveland.
Public Hall sits in the middle of downtown, walking distance from hotels, the lakefront, and most of what you would want to see while you are here.
Hotels
We are working on room blocks at hotels within walking distance of the hall, including:

Flying In
Cleveland Hopkins International (CLE) is about twenty minutes from downtown. The Red Line train runs from the airport directly to Tower City, a short walk from Public Hall. Rideshare and taxis are readily available.
Parking & Driving
Downtown parking garages and lots surround Public Hall. Specific garage recommendations, rates, and a map will be published closer to the weekend.
While You're Here
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the lakefront, Playhouse Square, and plenty of good places to eat are all close by. We will post a guide with restaurant and attraction recommendations.

Who is this weekend for?
Anyone in or interested in recovery is welcome — members, newcomers, families, and friends. You do not need to be from Cleveland or from any particular group. All are welcome, regardless of background or belief.
What does the $45 cover?
All three days of meetings, speakers, panels, and breakout sessions; the hospitality and fellowship rooms; the archives exhibit; your badge; and the printed program. Meals, lodging, and travel are not included.
Can I come for just one day?
Yes — come for whatever part of the weekend you can. Registration is still $45. There is no separate day rate, which keeps the weekend affordable for everyone.
What if I can't afford registration?
We do not want money to keep anyone away. A scholarship approach is being worked out by the Finance Committee and details will be posted here. In the meantime, please reach out to us directly and we will do what we can.
Are meetings recorded?
Some sessions may be audio recorded for our archives, always with the speaker's permission. Recording plans and permissions are still being worked out and will be posted before the weekend.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. Public Hall is wheelchair accessible. Our Accessibility & Inclusion Committee is working on seating, hearing assistance, and signage — if you have a specific need, please contact us and we will make sure it is handled.
Can I get a refund?
Contact us and we will work with you. The refund policy will be published here before registration has been open long.
How do I help or volunteer?
We need people. Subcommittees are forming now across program, hospitality, volunteers, speaker care, archives, and more. Reach out and tell us what you would like to do.
